FLAIR...The legacy continues at the Harley Race Wrestling Academy

In life we all want to be respected and admired for our achievements. The ultimate form of respect is when your fellow peers put their children and grandchildren in your hands to teach them the very business they themselves excelled in. Reid Flair, son of the legendary Ric Flair, has moved to Eldon, Missouri to begin his training at the Harley Race Wrestling Academy.

Reid joins the list of second and third generation superstars that have trained or are currently training under Harley Race including:

  • Ted DiBiase and Mike Dibiase, son of the “Millon Dollar Man”, Ted DiBiase.

  • Joe Hennig and Amy Hennig, grandson and granddaughter of Larry “The Axe” Hennig, who held the AWA World Team Championship with Harley Race, and son and daughter of the late “Mr.Perfect” Curt Hennig. Joe Henning who was recently signed by the WWE is currently one-half of the FCW’s Tag Team Champions. Amy Hennig is currently training at the academy and is on her way to future stardom.

  • Ricky Steamboat Jr., son of wrestling great Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is also currently training at the school and will make his mark like his father before him. He will also be leaving after the first of the year, to train in Pro Wrestling Noah’s Dojo.

Since it’s inception in 1999, Harley Race has been providing its students with the necessary tools to propel forward in the wrestling industry. Within the last five years seven students from the academy have signed with WWE. Several others have toured and trained with Japans premiere promotion ProWrestling NOAH. The Harley Race Wrestling Academy has a strong working relationship with WWE and ProWrestling NOAH. Both organizations attend the Harley Race Wrestling Camp every year to scout talent. The camp held every September in Eldon, Missouri, is the only place in the world that you will ever find both WWE and ProWrestling NOAH under one roof scouting talent.

Harley Race lived a dream every time he stepped into the ring. He continues to pass that dream along by training the superstars of tomorrow. You can achieve your dreams too and be the next superstar to graduate from the academy.

The Harley Race Wrestling Academy has moved to a larger facility at 1406 South Business Highway 54 in Eldon, Missouri. Due to the increase in size and the addition of a second ring, the school is now able to accommodate new students.

If you have the heart, desire, and physical ability to become a professional wrestler then look no further than the Harley Race Wrestling Academy. Students receive instruction from not only the 8-time Worlds Champion but also from qualified trainers such as WWE Raw superstar Trevor Murdoch.

Before joining the Academy all hopefuls must pass a $50 tryout. The tryout consist of cardiovascular training as well as minor ring work to give the aspiring candidate an idea of what training at the Academy will entail. Tryouts can be scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings at 5:00.

All men or women that pass the tryout will be eligible to attend the Academy. The Harley Race Wrestling Academy is a six-month training course on becoming a professional wrestler. The cost is $3,000 for the entire six-month course. Virtually all graduates of the Academy go on to become wrestlers for Harley Races own promotion, World League Wrestling, as well as receive tryouts with World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action.

The Harley Race Wrestling Academy and WLW have been in place since 1999. In that time Mr. Race has helped many young wrestlers land contracts with WWE. Also, because of the relationship of Harley Race with Pro Wrestling NOAH many wrestlers have gone on to Japan for extensive training in the world famous NOAH Dojo as well as wrestle for the company itself on several tours.

The Academy is located at 1406 South Business Highway 54 in Eldon, Missouri. Nowhere else in the world will you find a wrestling school with more opportunities for advancement. So if you have the dream of becoming a professional wrestler then the Harley Race Wrestling Academy can be the fulfillment of that dream.
