Mason Hunter began his trek towards professional wrestling not in the squared circle but on the mats in a wrestling room. After a chance encounter with former WWE/WCW Superstar Mike Rotunda in Middle School, Mason set out to conquer the world of professional wrestling.

With an extensive amateur background which includes numerous High School, College, and Military titles, Mason is a very adept mat wrestler and suplex specialist. In addition Mason holds a Brown Belt in Choi Kwang Do Martial Arts, which accounts for his willingness to throw numerous kicks to the head and back from all angles.

Mason began his career wrestling in Michigan and the Mason-Dixon Region (I.E. West Virginia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania), but due to his career in the military (He’s a Lieutenant in the US Air Force) he was relocated to Missouri. His initial training was through the late Doug Chevallier (WWE/ECW Superstar Rhyno’s Trainer) and "Amazing" Nate Mattson. His toughest opponents to date include former WCW superstars Horace Hogan and Big Vito, former ECW/WWE star The Blue Meanie, former NWA World Champion Gary Steele, and former WLW Champion Derek Stone.

Joined up with Superstar Steve in a feud with then WLW Tag Team Champions "Wild" Wade Chism and Trevor Rhodes a few months ago, which culminated with Steve and Mason winning the WLW Tag Titles in Eldon, MO on 14 February 2004.
