Trevor Murdoch has been with WLW since the doors of
the company opened in 1999. He not only completed the training at the
Harley Race Wrestling Academy but he also went on to instruct future WLW
stars. In WLW Trevor has won multiple Tag Team Titles with partners Bull
Schmitt and Wild Wade Chism, as well as three WLW Championships; his first
coming at the young age of 21 when he defeated Meng.
In 2004 Trevor completed six months of extensive
training in the NOAH dojo in Japan and has competed in multiple tours for
Pro Wrestling NOAH. When Trevor returned to the states he won the WLW
Championship for a second time taking the title away from Rick Steiner in
a three-way match.
In the spring of 2005 the career of Trevor took a
drastic turn when he was picked up by the WWE. Since being signed Trevor
has established a partnership with Lance Cade, out of Tennessee, winning
the WWE Tag Team Championships along the way. With the approval of WWE
Trevor began reappearing on WLW shows in 2006. Towards the end of that
same year Murdoch won his third WLW Championship defeating the then
current Champion, Daniel Cross. Trevor Murdoch once again reinforced his
role as the standard bearer in World League Wrestling.
