Superstar Steve came right out of the Harley Race Wrestling Academy with a cocky attitude. This attitude costs Steve many matches in the early going. But Steve soon started to make name for himself teaming up with partner All That Matt Murphy and being a member of The Gold Exchange under the advisement of Johnny Gold.

Steve also began establishing his name over seas. He completed dojo training in Tokyo, Japan and since then has wrestled thirteen tours for Pro Wrestling NOAH. He is also a former WLW Champion and Tag Team Champion. Superstar has also wrestled numerous times for WWE.

In October of 2005, Steve suffered a near career ending injury, tearing his ACL and PCL in his knee. But after almost one year rehabilitating, the Superstar made his return to the ring. Since his return the fans seem to have had a change of heart with Steve. This once hated man is now becoming a beloved figure in WLW.
